The waiting list — what happens now

• What we store — the address you type, the page you sent it from, the time, and the connecting IP address. Nothing else, and no account is created.
• Why — to send you one message when sign-ups open. Not a newsletter, and no other mail.
• Where — on our own server in the European Union. The list is not shared with anyone and is not used for advertising.
• How to get off it — write to hello@numupro.com and the address is deleted. No confirmation loop, no retention after that.

Who we are

NUMU PRO provides transcription of audio and video recordings. It is operated by NO NAME SOFTWARE FZCO, a freezone company registered with IFZA, registered at Dubai Silicon Oasis, DDP, Building A1, Dubai, United Arab Emirates. That entity is the data controller for anything this site collects, including the waiting-list address above. For any privacy question, write to hello@numupro.com.

What we collect

• Account data — email address and authentication details.
• Uploaded content — the audio and video files you send for processing, and the transcripts produced from them.
• Billing data — handled by our payment processor; we do not store card numbers.
• Technical data — logs needed to operate the service and investigate faults.

What we never do

We do not use your recordings or transcripts to train models. This applies on every plan, including the free one. We do not sell personal data, and we do not share your content with third parties except the infrastructure providers strictly required to run the service.

Speaker diarization does not build a lasting voiceprint. Telling speakers apart within one recording — "Speaker 1", "Speaker 2" — does not identify anyone by name and does not carry over between recordings. We do not keep a voice profile that recognises the same person across different sessions.

Where data is processed

Processing and storage take place within the European Union under the GDPR. A Data Processing Agreement is available on request — see the DPA page.

How long we keep it

Uploaded files and transcripts are kept while your account is active, so you can return to them. You can delete any individual file at any time, and deleting your account removes your content, source recordings included. Enterprise customers can set custom retention, including immediate deletion after processing.

Your rights

Under GDPR you may request access to your data, correction, deletion, restriction of processing, and portability, and you may object to processing. Write to hello@numupro.com and we will respond within the statutory period.

Recording other people

You are responsible for having the right to upload a recording, or for calls the meeting bot joins. Recording a conversation without informing or obtaining consent from every participant is unlawful in many places — a criminal offence in Germany, and a civil one in at least a dozen US states (California, Connecticut, Delaware, Florida, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, Montana, New Hampshire, Oregon, Pennsylvania, and Washington all require every participant's consent, not just the organiser's). Our meeting bot appears in the participant list, but a visible bot is not treated as legal notice on its own in any jurisdiction we're aware of — get affirmative consent from everyone on the call before it joins.
