The problem

A quote has to be exact and defensible, and scrubbing back through audio to check it burns the hours you do not have.

  • You remember the quote exists but not where in ninety minutes of tape
  • Checking one contested sentence means scrubbing the recording back and forth
  • The deadline arrives before the interview has been fully listened to

What changes

A full transcript with timecodes, so every quote can be verified against the recording in seconds.

  • Quotes verifiable against the audio
  • Interviews searchable by keyword
  • Faster turnaround from recording to draft

What matters here

  • Exact timecodes

Click a line, land on the second it was said. Checking a contested quote takes seconds.

  • Noisy conditions

Press conferences and street interviews are messy. Diarization still separates the voices it can.

  • Source protection

Your recordings are not used for training and are hosted in the EU under GDPR.

Journalism: common questions

How exact are the timecodes for verifying a quote?

Down to the word. Every word carries its own start and end time, so you can defend a quote against the recording rather than against your memory of it.

What about a noisy press conference?

Accuracy drops when several people talk over each other or the room echoes — that is true of every engine. The transcript stays usable, but expect to check the crowded passages yourself.

Are my recordings confidential?

They are stored in the EU under GDPR and never used for training. Delete a file and it goes, source recording included.
